Hello and welcome to my health tips blog!


I have been involved with the study of nutrition and health for nearly 20 years.  In 1994 I was introduced to USANA Health Sciences and was so impressed with the founder, the science, and the products that I joined as an associate.  I became a Certified Team Leader for the Healthy for Life program and achieved the level of Director for which I was awarded #6 Income Earner Worldwide and Team Leader Award in 2005.

Prior to this, I was a commercial real estate broker in Boise, Idaho, and had raised my two sons as a single mom.  The stress finally took it's toll and I was diagnosed with several conditions for which I was told I would  be on medication for the 'rest of my life'.  This reality frightened me, so I began my journey to find more natural ways to improve my health.   I have not taken any prescription medications now for over 15 years!

Health is a lifetime journey, and after my new husband was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's, we moved to AZ for warmer climate.  The move, the lifestyle, and nutritionals have helped to slow his condition and maintain our  quality of life for which we are grateful.  As life goes, however, other conditions have arose including heart disease, sleep apnea, and Celiac disease which have further expanded my search for the best ways to support his health, while maintaining mine.  Again, it's a journey!
