Getting Back to Basics for Weight Management!

1.  Start your day with a good protein and fiber breakfast.
A well balanced protein shake and piece of  fruit can suffice if you are needing to get out the door quickly!

2.  Eat low glycemic foods, especially vegetables, and reduce the refined carbs and sugars.  Make certain to get a balance of good protein and fats with each meal!

3.  Eat three (3) small meals and two (2) small low glycemic snacks daily to help keep your blood sugar balanced.    Click here for low glycemic information & foods.

4.  Sleep is vital for weight management.  Aim for 7 to 9 hours depending on your age, gender, and individual requirements.  Don't short change your rest!

5.  Exercise moderately each day and be sure to stretch with deep breathes.  Yoga is great to help  reduce stress and maintain healthy weight.

6.  Poor digestion can hinder weight loss.  I'll be posting several different times about digestion and detox, so please watch for them.
